Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are always needed at First Church for one-time events or on-going programs. If you can help someone with homework, develop job skills, make household repairs, prepare meals, partner with seniors or minister to those in extended care facilities or lead a discussion group, we have an opportunity for you. Our volunteer ministry is all about allowing people to serve Christ through sharing their special gifts with others.

Please be Christ's hands...
We have an opportunity to serve our neighbors in Christ's Name! InnVision needs our help distributing fresh fruits, vegetables and other food to people in need. InnVision handles all the "paperwork" and decisions — they just need help bagging the groceries from their supplies USUALLY on the 4th Thursday of every month, from 9:00 AM to about 12:00 noon.
If you are retired, work part time, are a stay-at-home parent who'd like to have a few hours out, or just have time, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Heavy lifting is NOT required! Call the Office for more information. Location: At the InnVision warehouse at 7th and Commercial Street in San Jose.
